Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant‘s wedding festivities are still in full swing. After their grand wedding and a three-day celebration in Mumbai with numerous celebrities and public figures, the couple travelled to Jamnagar, Gujarat, for more post-wedding rituals. Upon arriving in Jamnagar on Tuesday, the newlyweds received a heartfelt welcome. The small city, which holds special meaning for both Anant and Radhika, was alive with celebrations.
Radhika then received the traditional Griha Pravesh ceremony at the Ambani residence in Jamnagar. A viral video showed her engaging in this customary homecoming ritual for new brides in India. She dipped her feet in red dye and walked on a cloth to leave her footprints, symbolising her entry into Anant’s life and home as his wife. Anant, on the other hand, gets emotional as Jamnagar was chosen for its personal significance to the entire family.
Earlier, the Ambanis had hosted pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar, which included a performance by international superstar Rihanna.

Anant had shared that his grandmother was born there, and both his grandfather, Dhirubhai Ambani, and his father, Mukesh Ambani, began their business in the city. “This is my dadi’s janmbhoomi and my dada and papa’s karmbhoomi,” Anant stated, expressing his joy at celebrating in a place so integral to his family’s history.
The lavish wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant took place at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai on July 12. It was attended by several Bollywood and international stars, making it the talk of the town. Guests included Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, John Cena, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Janhvi Kapoor, among others.
