NIRF Ranking 2024 Live: The ranking framework evaluates institutions on five broad generic groups of parameters of teaching, learning and resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity and perception. The ranks are assigned based on the total sum of marks assigned for each of these five broad groups of parameters.

NIRF Ranking 2024 Live: The annual rankings are usually announced in April but have been delayed this year. Last year it was announced on June 5. This year the announcement has been delayed more and will be declared today, August 12.

NIRF Ranking 2024 Live: The official website reads, “This framework outlines a methodology to rank institutions across the country. The methodology draws from the overall recommendations broad understanding arrived at by a Core Committee set up by MHRD, to identify the broad parameters for ranking various universities and institutions. The parameters broadly cover “Teaching, Learning and Resources,” “Research and Professional Practices,” “Graduation Outcomes,” “Outreach and Inclusivity,” and “Perception.”

NIRF Ranking 2024 Live: In 2023, NIRF rankings was announced on June 5. IIT Madras topped in the overall category, followed by IISc Bangalore in second spot and IIT Delhi in the third place. IISc Bangalore topped the list, JNU came in second, and Jamia Millia Islamia acquired the third spot in universities category. IIT Madras acquired the first position, IIT Delhi in second and IIT Bombay in the third place in engineering category. AIIMS, Delhi in first position, PGIMER, Chandigarh in second spot and Christian Medical College in third place under medical colleges category.

NIRF Ranking 2024 Live: The Ministry of Education will release the India ranking list at 3 pm today. The lists will also be shared here once it is out.
