Radhika Apte has always been very private about her personal life. She has never shared anything about her family or her love life anywhere. It was only because of an event she attended that everyone came to know that she is pregnant with her first child. She is married to British violinist and composer Benedict Taylor. The actress recently shared a picture of hers working on laptop and also breastfeeding her one week old baby. Radhika and Benedict are blessed with a baby girl. Now, Radhika Apte spoke to Vogue India and shared an interesting story about her pregnancy. She recently shared a few pictures from her maternity shoot as well with Vogue India. She said that her pregnancy story is a stupid one and she does not want to make it public but it’s funny how it happened. She shared that it wasn’t an accident, but they also weren’t trying and it still came as a shock.

Radhika and Benedict did not want kids
She added that it’s easier when people know whether they want a child or not but in their case, neither of them wanted kids. However, she shared that there was this one per cent curiosity about what it would be like and then, when this happened, they wondered whether to even go ahead.
Earlier, Radhika also spoke to Etimes and said that she thought people wouldn’t notice the bump at the premiere of her movie, but it was too big. She added that if there were no premiere, one would probably have never known.
Talking about her and Benedict, Radhika went to London to learn contemporary dance in 2011 when she met Benedict. They were in a live in relationship before they registered their marriage. In 2013, had an official intimate ceremony.
