GRUFFALO fans can enjoy a brand new attraction opening across the UK this month.
Celebrating the book’s 25th anniversary, Forestry England has announced a year-long celebratory trail across the UK.
The huge trail will have a huge kid’s party, with interactive games including searching for missing party items along with other puzzles.
Other activities include learning about the local plants and animals.
The trail will take place across 26 forest sites, starting from January 24.
More is to be revealed about where the trails will be, along with ticket prices.
Families will be able to pay trail packs for £4, which includes headbands, stickers, stationary and sew on patches.
Parents can sign up to the Forestry England’s newsletter to find out where the trails will launch.
In the mean time, the current Gruffalo trails are found at the Thorndon Natural Discovery Centre in the Thorndon Country Park.
Along the way, kids can follow the map to find hand carvings of many of the Gruffalo characters.
If you can’t wait until then, there are lots of other Gruffalo attraction in the UK.
The Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse opened last year in Blackpool.
The indoor playground has areas including the Gruffalo Child’s Cave, Room on a Broom soft play and Snail and the Whale ball pit.
Tickets for the £2.3million attraction start from £4.50 for kids.
Warwick Castle as it’s own Julia Donaldson attraction too.
Zog and the Quest for the Golden Star trail lets kids learn how to road like a dragon, capture a princess and fight like a knight.
And Chessington has it’s own Gruffalo River Ride adventure, a lazy river ride through the Deep Dark Wood.
Opened in 2017, there are also six rooms at the Chessington Safari Hotel that are Gruffalo themed.
