Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah has laughed off comments made by Kaizer Chiefs teenage striker Wandile Duba.
Duba scored a beautiful goal as Amakhosi beat Golden Arrows 1-0 on Tuesday, and he sent a strong message to Pirates that they should be ready for him.
Pirates welcome Chiefs in the 179th Soweto Derby at FNB Stadium on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 15:30.
Now, Ndah feels ‘little’ Duba was just talking out of excitement after scoring a goal leading up to the Soweto Derby.
NDAH CALLS DUBA ‘LITTLE GUY’ AHEAD OF SOWETO DERBY
“I’m not worried about what the little guy said, I think he is more excited,” Ndah told reporters.
“So, I’m just looking forward to the next game on Saturday, we just have to deliver.”
DUBA RECENTLY BECAME AMAKHOSI’S EIGHTH TEENAGE SCORER
At 19, Duba recently became the youngest player to score for Chiefs in a league since Mduduzi Shabalala did so at the age of 18 against Maritzburg United.
Overall, Duba was the eighth teenager to score for Amakhosi after the likes of Shabalala, Mandla Masango and Knowledge Musona among others.
