Motorola Edge 50 series launch date
Without revealing many details, the smartphone brand – via X (formerly Twitter) – has announced that it will release its complete lineup of the Motorola Edge 50 series for global consumers on April 16th.

It is unconfirmed, but the upcoming series will include the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, Edge 50 Pro, and Edge 50 Ultra. It is worth mentioning that the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is also official in India.
Reports suggest the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will have a curved 6.7-inch pOLED display and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. The phone might include a 50MP OIS primary camera, a 13MP ultra-wide camera on the back, and a 32MP front camera. Also, it might have a 5,000mAh battery with 68W wired charging and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
On the other hand, the flagship Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will also have a 6.7-inch OLED curved 144Hz display, a triple camera setup including a 50MP primary camera, a 10MP zoom lens, and a 13MP ultrawide sensor. It will likely be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and a 4,500mAh battery supporting 125W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Motorola Edge 50 price in India, specifications
The base model of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro costs Rs 31,999 and includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, along with a 68W charger. Another variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at Rs 35,999 and comes with a 125W charger.
In terms of specifications, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro boasts a 6.7-inch curved 144Hz display and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. It is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, offers configurations of up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and operates on Android 14 with the Hello UI interface.
The newly launched Motorola device includes a 50MP OIS-enabled main camera, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 13MP ultra-wide sensor. It houses a 4,500mAh battery that supports up to rapid 125W TurboPower charging and 50W wireless charging.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro also offers premium audio with Dolby Atmos support, dual stereo speakers, advanced security with an in-display fingerprint sensor, and robust durability with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
