MHT CET 2024 Results: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has declared the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) result 2024 today, on June 16. Candidates who had appeared in the Entrance Test can now check their MHT CET 2024 Results on the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org.
Earlier today in a notice the CET Cell had announced that the results will be made available on the main website and on the MHT CET portal.The notice reads, “The result of MHT-CET 2024 will be published on 16-06-2024 at 6 pm. The result will be available in the candidate’s login through these links-cetcell.mahacet.org and portal.maharashtracet.org.”
In order to check their results, candidates will be required to fill their application number and date of birth on the candidate portal to check MHT CET 2024 results.

Follow these steps to check MHT CET 2024 results:
Step 1: Go to the official website either mahacet.org or mahacet.in.
Step 2: Locate and click on the result link provided on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your credentials, including your roll number, hall ticket number, and date of birth.

To mitigate such ambiguities, the MHT CET authorities have established a predefined process for resolving ties in the MHT CET 2024 Results. Below is the sequence of steps to be followed for resolving ties:

  • Candidates with the least number of incorrect attempts in Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology will be prioritised.
  • If a tie persists, those with the fewest incorrect attempts in Mathematics or Biology will be given precedence.
  • Should the tie persist further, candidates with fewer incorrect answers in Chemistry will be favored.
  • If the tie still remains, candidates with higher scores in their Class 12 board exams will be preferred.
  • In the event that the tie persists even after the above criteria, the candidate who is older in age will be given priority.

Following the announcement of the results, the MHT CET counselling process will begin, with three Centralised Admission Process (CAP) rounds taking place. MHT CET seat intake for BTech and BPharma courses at various Maharashtra colleges is released for each CAP round.
