When I saw the photos of Megan Thee Stallion sitting front row at the Gaurav Gupta show during Paris Couture Fashion Week, I first focused on her chain dress and matching headpiece. But then something caught my eye… and suddenly, I couldn’t focus on anything else.
Yes, I’m talking about her nails. The rapper went full high-fashion with her manicure, created by her nail artist Tahvya Krok. Were my eyes deceiving me? Are her nails not completely upside down? Instead of the pointed tips facing outward and extending past the fingertip, as they usually do, Megan’s nails were completely flip-flopped, with the squared-off base sitting right at the top of each finger and the stiletto-shaped points nearly touching her knuckles. At first glance, it looks like she’s just wearing a shorter-length manicure, but nope! This manicure takes everything you thought you knew about nail shapes and flips it on its head.
The nails themselves were a frosty taupe-champagne color that shifted with the light and worked beautifully with the silver chains and copper-colored corset. Think of it like a simple manicure with an avant-garde twist.
