The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday’s lottery drawing has rolled back to $20 million with a cash option of $9.5 million after someone who bought a ticket at ShopRite Liquors in Neptune Township won Tuesday’s massive $1.13 billion prize.
The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. and televised on WABC-7 in the New York City area and Fox 29 in the Philadelphia area. NJ.com will publish the winning numbers immediately following the drawing.
In addition to the jackpot-winning ticket, 10 third-prize Mega Millions tickets worth $10,000 or $20,000 were sold in New Jersey for Tuesday’s drawing. Each matched four numbers plus the Mega Ball.
Tuesday’s winning Mega Millions numbers were: 7, 11, 22, 29 and 38. The Mega Ball drawn was 4 with a Megaplier of 2X.
In addition, 13 second-prize tickets worth $1 million or $2 million were sold. Two $1 million tickets were sold in New York — in Cicero and Locus Valley, officials said. The jackpot prize is the 8th largest in U.S. lottery history.
