Who Is Artika Shukla?
Artika hails from Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi. She shocked everyone by clearing one of the toughest competitive exams without any coaching. Recently, she was appointed the District Collector of Alwar following a reshuffling of IAS officers.
Artika’s father Brijesh Shukla is a doctor by profession, and her mother Leena is a housewife. She has two elder brothers and both have also passed the UPSC exam.
Artika Shukla’s Education Qualification
Artika pursued her MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College and wanted to become a doctor like her father as he is her idol. But when she was pursuing an MD from PGIMER, her elder brother Gaurav convinced her to prepare for the IAS exam.
Heeding her brother’s advice, Artika left her MD studies started UPSC preparation and secured the 4th rank, all without the help of any coaching.

Just like the widely recognized IAS officer Tina Dabi, Artika Shukla, another young and dynamic IAS officer, has also managed to turn heads. Her social media is bustling with followers.
