Born on September 9, 1987, in Bihar, Tathagat Avatar Tulsi exhibited remarkable academic talent from a young age. He completed his schooling at just 9 years old, earned a BSc at 11, and an MSc at 12 from Patna Science College. He continued his studies at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bangalore, where he completed his PhD by the age of 21. Despite his extraordinary academic accomplishments, he is currently facing challenges with unemployment.

Tathagat Avatar Tulsi completed his PhD at the Indian Institute of Science, where he wrote his thesis on “Generalizations of the Quantum Search Algorithm.” During his research, he collaborated with renowned scientist Lov Grover on a paper titled “A New Algorithm for Fixed-point Quantum Search,” though it was never published.

In 2010, Tulsi was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the prestigious IIT Mumbai, where his career flourished. However, in 2019, he encountered a setback when his employment was unexpectedly terminated after he took an extended medical leave.

Tulsi’s health began to decline in 2011 when what seemed to be a severe fever was later diagnosed as an unexpected allergy. This health setback prompted him to take a four-year sabbatical from his esteemed position at IIT Mumbai. By 2013, he had moved to Patna, but in 2019, his tenure at IIT officially ended when he was released from his duties. Now unemployed, Tulsi is focusing on building a new career and has turned his attention to the field of law.
