As mentioned earlier, IAS officer Tina Dabi’s mother, Himali Dabi, had also cleared the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam and served as an officer in the Indian Engineering Services (IES). Later, she opted for voluntary retirement to focus on supporting Tina during her UPSC preparation, playing a pivotal role in helping her achieve the milestone of becoming a successful IAS officer.
According to the media reports, Himali Dabi was a topper at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal.
