Undeterred, he persisted through two more attempts—though he encountered setbacks at different stages, he remained focused on his goal.

In 2018, on his fourth attempt, Nitin finally achieved his long-standing ambition by passing the UPSC exam and fulfilling his dream of becoming an IAS officer. Reportedly, he obtained All India Rank(AIR) 704.
