Initially, Nitin faced a significant setback when his school principal refused to issue his admit card for the Class 12 board exams, doubting his ability to pass. However, this challenge only strengthened his resolve. With unwavering dedication, he not only passed the exams but also score well. This success was a turning point for Nitin, building his confidence and inspiring him to pursue a career in medicine. After clearing the medical entrance exam, Nitin pursued his MBBS at Maulana Azad Medical College, specializing in Anesthesia and Critical Care. His work at Lok Nayak Hospital, Guru Nanak Eye Centre, and Sushruta Trauma Centre deepened his dedication to public service. While volunteering with children in slum areas, he recognized his potential to create broader change, which inspired him to pursue the IAS to have an even greater impact on society.
Driven by his commitment to make a broader impact, Nitin decided to tackle the challenging UPSC Civil Services Exam (CSE). In his first attempt, he advanced through both the prelims and mains but narrowly missed success in the interview reportedly by just 10 marks. Undeterred, he persisted through two more attempts—though he encountered setbacks at different stages, he remained focused on his goal.
In 2018, on his fourth attempt, Nitin finally achieved his long-standing ambition by passing the UPSC exam and fulfilling his dream of becoming an IAS officer. Reportedly, he obtained All India Rank(AIR) 704.
