This Bollywood actor has made a long-awaited return to the film industry, and his comeback has been met with much excitement from fans. Known for his charm and acting talent, he is once again winning hearts with his performances. After taking a break from acting for personal reasons he has signed several new projects and his return has brought waves of joy among his followers. Can you guess who he is?

Meet Actor Who Was Declared Loser After His Debut Film

It is none other than Bollywood actor Fardeen Khan who began his career in 1998 starring in his debut film Prem Agan which unfortunately did not fare well at the box office. The film was directed by his legendary father Feroz Khan. Despite the setback, Fardeen’s journey in the film industry was just beginning. In a recent interview, he opened up about his struggles in the film industry and how his father helped him during tough times.

Feroz Khan’s Support During Tough Times

Fardeen spoke candidly about the failure of his debut film and the challenges that followed. He revealed that after Prem Agan flopped, he was required to return the Rs 1 crore he had received as an advance from producers. He recalled feeling as though he had been written off and that work had dried up. “It was a tough time, and I was declared a failure,” he shared. However, during this difficult phase, his father, Feroz Khan, played a pivotal role in helping him navigate through it.

Fardeen shared that before the release of his first film, his father gave him nearly 4 lakh rupees to support him. Even after the film’s release, Feroz continued to support him financially, giving Fardeen 50,000 rupees every month for an entire year. Fardeen recalled that his father’s only condition was that he live within this budget. He mentioned, “With that money, I bought my first car, the Opel Astra, with my own savings. My monthly allowance of 50,000 rupees was used to pay for the car installments, and the rest went towards fuel and other expenses.”

Fardeen Khan’s Film Journey

Despite a rocky start, Fardeen Khan received recognition for his talent and was awarded Best Debut in 1998. His big breakthrough came in 2002, with films like Kitne Door Kitne Paas and Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahen, where his performances were widely appreciated. His career reached new heights in 2004 when he starred in the blockbuster No Entry, a huge success that propelled him into the spotlight. He continued to enjoy success with comedy films, including Hey Baby, alongside Akshay Kumar.

After 2010, Fardeen took a break from acting to care for his ailing father. Now, after a long hiatus, he is back in action. In 2024, he was seen working on three exciting projects, including Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series Heeramandi and the films Khel Khel Mein and Vishfot. Fans are also eagerly awaiting Fardeen’s appearance in the fifth installment of the hit franchise Housefull, set to release in 2025.
