Apala Mishra, one of the most talked-about officers in the Indian Foreign Service, has chosen her life partner, Abhishek Bakolia, who is also an IFS officer. Apala, from the 2021 IFS batch, recently shared on social media about beginning a new chapter with Abhishek, who belongs to the 2022 IFS batch. She also updated her Instagram profile, featuring a new photo with Abhishek.

Apala posted four pictures with Abhishek on Instagram, captioning them “diplomatic treaty>> Wedding vows 💍.” While it hasn’t been confirmed whether the two are officially married, congratulations are pouring in from followers who assume they’ve tied the knot. The post has gained massive attention, with over 121,715 likes in just seven days. Notable figures like IPS Navjot Simi, IAS Ria Dabi, and her husband, IPS Manish Kumar, have also liked the post.

Who is IFS Abhishek Bakolia

Abhishek Bakolia hails from Kotkapura in Punjab’s Faridkot district. He earned his degree in Computer Science from Punjab Engineering College in Chandigarh. During an internship with J.P. Morgan, he decided to pursue a career in the Indian Foreign Service (IFS). In March 2020, he began preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination, and in 2021, he successfully cleared the exam on his first attempt. Abhishek crafted his strategy for success by watching topper interviews to understand effective preparation techniques for UPSC.

Who is IFS Apala Mishra

IFS officer Apala Mishra, on the other hand, comes from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh and belongs to a highly educated family. Her father is a retired Colonel from the from the Army Education Corps (AEC), her brother is a Major who serves in the 5 Para unit.

Apala Mishra is an alumna of the Army College of Dental Sciences, graduating in 2012. She achieved remarkable success in her third attempt at the UPSC exam, securing the 9th rank, and set a record by scoring the highest marks in the interview round with 215 points. She is now serving in the Indian Foreign Service, dedicated to the country.

Apala’s mother, Alpana Mishra, is a professor at Delhi University and an accomplished Hindi author. Apala completed her early schooling at St. Mary’s School in Dehradun up to 10th grade, and attended Delhi Public School, Rohini, for her 11th and 12th grades. After finishing her BDS course in November 2017, she began preparing for the UPSC exams in 2018. Apala is also an athlete and represented her college basketball team at the university level. Originally from Basti, Uttar Pradesh, her family currently resides in Ghaziabad.
