Big birthdays mean you have got to celebrate in style, right? We’re thinking of balloons, cake – the whole shebang.
Well, McDonald’s is doing just the same as it celebrates its 50th birthday in the UK. To coincide with the day, the fast-food restaurant will run a limited-edition food menu.
The menu will feature three brand-new desserts, a new cheesy side and a range of iconic items that will be making a return.
The limited-edition menu will be available across the UK from July 17. The countdown is on so make sure to mark it in your calendar.
So, what is on McDonald’s limited-edition menu?
The Birthday Cake Donut
What says ‘Happy Birthday’ better than a ring doughnut with a strawberry-flavoured filling, topped with buttercream-flavoured icing and sprinkles?
McDonald’s will donate 20p from each Birthday Cake Donut sale to Ronald McDonald House Charities UK, which is also celebrating its 35th birthday this year. You can see this item added to the McCafe menu.
Milkybar Raspberry Ripple McFlurry
This McFlurry features soft dairy ice cream swirled with mini Milkybar chocolate drops and topped with a sweet and sharp raspberry sauce.
Munchies Cookie Dough McFlurry
However, that is not all for the McFlurry fans. This second item is made up of soft dairy ice cream swirled with chocolate-coated Munchies biscuit pieces and topped with a caramel cookie dough sauce.
Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers
Making its debut on the menu is a savoury treat. Featuring four mozzarella dippers flavoured with garlic and chives in a ciabatta-style breadcrumb coating, served with rich tomato dip. It is also available in a Sharebox.

Double Big Mac and Double Big Mac with Bacon
It wouldn’t be a birthday celebration without a Big Mac on the menu. The fan favourites will be re-joining the menu, featuring four 100 percent beef patties, a slice of cheese, lettuce, onion, and pickles. And let’s not forget the tasty Big Mac sauce.
McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse
Making its first re-appearance since October 2023 is the McCrispy® BBQ Smokehouse. This burger is made up of 100 percent chicken breast fillet in a crispy, crunchy coating with a smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, red onion, and lettuce, all in a delicious sourdough-style sesame bun.
McDonald’s Chicken Sharebox
Last but certainly not least, the McDonald’s Chicken Sharebox will be staying on the menu. It includes six Chicken Selects, 12 Chicken McNuggets, plus two McNuggets dips and two Selects dips.
But if Chicken Selects are your favourite, don’t worry, the nine Chicken Selects Sharebox with three Selects Dips will also be remaining.
