After teasing everyone with spy shots and testing videos, the leading carmaker Toyota has finally released the Urban Cruiser Taisor in India, a rebadged version of the Maruti Fronx. The model has been introduced at the starting price of Rs 7.73 lakh (ex-showroom), and goes up to 12.86 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top model.

Total Variants and Colour Options
The company has launched the tech-loaded vehicle in five different trims – E, S, S Plus, G and V. All of them are available in five single-tone and three dual-tone exterior colour options.
The single-tone options include Sportin Red, Lucent Orange, Enticing Silver, Cafe White, and Gaming Grey, while the dual-tone gets Enticing Silver, Sportin Red, and Cafe White, all with Midnight Black painted roof.
Urban Cruiser Taisor Base Trim E
The base variant E has been priced at Rs 7.74 lakh (ex-showroom) and can be purchased from any of the authorised dealerships across the country. It is powered by a 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine, generating a max power of 87 bhp and 113 Nm of torque.
S Variant
The trim gets the same 1.2-litre engine option as base, which delivers decent power. However, the company has offered an additional automatic transmission option. It comes with a price tag of Rs. 8.60 lakh for MT and Rs. 9.13 lakh for the AMT, all are ex-showroom.
S+ variant
This has been positioned one step above the S trim, flaunting a price tag of Rs 8.99 lakh (MT) (ex-showroom) and Rs. 9.53 lakh for AMT (ex-showroom).
The trim has been given some of the robust features, which makes it one of the value-for-money variants.
G Trim
It falls in the second top model category and offers great performance as compared to the above-mentioned trims. It features a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which churns out a max power of 98.632 bhp and 147 Nm of torque.
V Trim
Here comes the star of the show, V trim or the top model in the range. It comes with a whooping price of Rs priced Rs 11.46 lakh for the MT transmission and goes up to Rs 12.86 lakh for the automatic version. All prices are ex-showroom.
It is filled with a long list of advanced features. The list includes a leather-wrapped multi-functional steering wheel, a head-up display with a 360-degree camera view, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, supported by all car connects technology among others.
