Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa is in the news. The show is the TRP topper even this week. The serial recently took a leap of 10-15 years. The story of the show has completely changed and we have Shivam Khajuria, Alisha Parveen as the leads. Anu’s life has changed as she believes Anuj died in a plane crash. Aadhya is also not with her. Anu stays with the Shahs who hate her. Toshu, Pakhi, Baa, Dolly and even Kinjal has been against her. Bapuji and her grand children, Ansh, Mahi, Pari love her a lot. Anu runs her ‘Anu Ki Rasoi’ business and Toshu helps her. But he has not changed and still uses his cheap business tactics and puts Anu in trouble.
Manish Naggdev on playing Toshu in Anupamaa
Manish Naggdev plays the role of Toshu now in Rajan Shahi’s Anupamaa. Earlier, Aashish Mehrotra played Toshu and later Gaurav Sharma replaced him. Gaurav left the show as the show was taking a big leap. Manish is now seen in the show and has been doing a great job as Toshu.
He recently shared his excitement about joining the show. In an interview with India Forums, he said that the vibe is fantastic on the sets and everyone has welcomed him with open arms on the sets. He said that he is learning from his costars about work ethics and professionalism.
He further praised Rupali Ganguly and said that she deserves all the praises and love. He said that she is hardworking, inspiring and her support has been invaluable. He also spoke about the leap in the show. He shared that the leap has been a brilliant move by the makers.
