Man microwaves McDonald’s Big Mac for 30 mins – with grim result

A man has caused a stir online after microwaving a Big Mac for 30 minutes to see what would become of the popular burger.

TikTok sensation Harry, known as Microwaving30Mins on the platform, has captured audiences with his quirky food experiments.

His latest microwave trial involving a McDonald’s Big Mac yielded ghastly results, with the burger turning “solid”.

Filming the process, Harry set up the experiment in his garden, remarking: “Whilst it is true that McDonald’s products tend not to rot, they never said anything about how they’d fare in a microwave now did they?”

Smoke emerged from his microwave towards the end of the 30-minute ordeal, revealing a shockingly “incredibly greasy” finale.

The burger left unsightly yellow stains on the plate and had hardened dramatically, prompting Harry to observe: “Rock hard, incredibly greasy, tendrils of solidified beef liquid journeying out from the underside.”

He added: “This is exactly how I expected a processed McDonald’s product to behave after 30 minutes in a microwave.”

The unsettling result turned some viewers off their cravings, with one commenting that the disturbing video strengthened their resolve to stick to a diet instead of giving into fast food temptations. They said: “Calorie counting and craving a maccies and this has helped immeasurably.”

Other TikTok users chimed in to suggest items of their own that they want Harry to test in the appliance. Suggestions ranged from teabags and watermelons to jelly or cat food, with Harry confirming a few selections in the comments.

One of his more viral posts saw a Greggs steak bake put into the microwave. Other items he has roasted for 30 minutes include percy pigs, mayonnaise, marshmallows, a lettuce and a Cadbury’s flake.
