TRIBUTES have been paid to an “amazing” dad who died after being hit by a bus on a Scots road.
Mercy crews raced to the A952 near Toll of Birness in Aberdeenshire just after 2pm on Tuesday, October 8.
Andrew Jackson, 45, was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where he died on Tuesday, October 29.
In a statement released through Police Scotland, his heartbroken family remembered the “amazing dad and cherished son”.
They said: “Andrew was a beloved partner to Andrea, an amazing dad to Ritchie and Andrew and a cherished son of Margaret and Eddie.
“Loved always and forever in our hearts.
“Andrew was a wonderful person with the biggest smile and a heart of gold.
“He was loved by all who knew him.”
Cops are appealing to anyone who may have any information about the crash to get in touch.
Road Policing Sergeant Eoin Maxwell said: “Our thoughts are with Andrew’s family and friends at this difficult time.
“We ask anyone with information who has not yet spoken to police to please come forward.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1830 of 8 October, 2024.”
