A MAN has died and two others have been rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a horror van crash.
Emergency crews were scrambled to the A941 Fogwatt to Elgin road near Longmorn, Moray last night.
The alarm was raised at around 7.55pm following a crash involving a white Renault Traffic van.
Sadly, the 32-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two passengers, a 27-year-old man and a 38-year-old man, were rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Their condition is currently described as serious but stable.
Pictures show the air ambulance at the scene along with several police vehicles.
Cops confirmed that enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
Sergeant Sarah Ritchie said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died and all those involved and I would like to thank members of the public who stopped to assist.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing to anyone who has not already spoken to officers to get in touch if you can assist.
