Now, after the news of their separation created headlines, Malaika made her first appearance. The actor was spotted exiting the lift of a building while she quickly gave a smile to shutterbugs and left.
While the actor-dancer waved and smiled at the paparazzi, she didn’t stop for photos or selfies. Malaika seemed rushed, evident from the repeated calls of ‘Malaika Ji wait,’ ‘Malaika Ma’am wait,’ ‘Ma’am wait,’ in the nine-second clip. Meanwhile, a source to Pinkvilla confirmed the break up of both the actors and cited the reasons that the relationship has run its course.

“Malaika and Arjun had a very special relationship and both of them will continue to hold a special place in each other’s hearts. They have chosen to part ways and will maintain a dignified silence in this matter. They won’t allow anyone to drag and dissect their relationship,” a source cited by the entertainment portal claimed.
“They had a long, loving, fruitful relationship that has unfortunately run its course now. That doesn’t mean there is any bad blood between them. They respect each other hugely and have been a pillar of strength for each other. Over the years, they have given their relationship a lot of respect. They will continue to give each other the same respect despite them deciding to part ways. Both of them were in a serious relationship for years, and they expect people to be gracious enough to give them space at this emotional time,” the insider added.
Amid the breakup rumours, Malaika shared a cryptic post on her Instagram which read, “Good Morning…The greatest treasure on earth is the people who love and support us. They cannot be bought or replaced and each of us has only a few of them.” However, neither Arjun nor Malaika has given an official statement on the matter.
Before dating Arjun Kapoor, Malaika was married to Arbaaz Khan for almost 19 years. They got divorced in 2017. Now, both the actors co-parent their son Arhaan Khan.
