Ajay Devgn’s ‘Maidaan’ vs Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff’s ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’
Ajay Devgn’s film faced a major box office clash with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan‘ fought it out at the box office. According to early estimates, ‘Maidaan‘ appears to lag behind the actioner at the box office. Despite being released on the major Eid weekend, the Ali Abbas Zafar action film likewise had a slow start, earning Rs 15.50 cr. For there to be any possibility of a reversal, both movies must now hold strong and make significant box office gains—especially since their production was anything from economical.
Although trade circles have remarked that the landing cost of Maidaan, after years of delay, amounts to Rs 250 cr, the budget of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is apparently over Rs 350 cr. It seems unlikely that any of the two movies will even approach their stated budgets due to their weak premieres.
