After being shutout in the first half, Mahwah rallied to score four goals in the second half, defeating Wayne Valley, 4-3, in Mahwah.
Emma Jordan, Julianna Capitanello, Ava Meitrott, and Ashley Asterita each found the back of the net for Mahwah (1-0).
Goal keeper Mandy Yazidjian made six saves and was a key contributor towards the victory.
Adrina Ibraimi, Sabrina King, and Avery Voinov each scored a goal for Wayne Valley (0-1).
