For Class XII (Higher Secondary Certificate) and Higher Secondary Vocational Course exams, the written exams are scheduled from Tuesday, February 11, 2025, to Tuesday, March 18, 2025.The practical, oral, and internal assessments will be conducted from Friday, January 24, 2025, to Monday, February 10, 2025.

The Class X (Secondary School Certificate, SSC) exams will be held from Friday, February 21, 2025, to Monday, March 17, 2025, with practical and internal assessments taking place from Monday, February 3, 2025, to Thursday, February 20, 2025.
Reason behind this decision
Usually, the HSC board examination starts in the third week of February, while the SSC board exams begin in the first week of March. Further, the board releases the results by the end of May or in the first week of June. However, this time, the board has advanced the examination schedule.
“The board has advanced the exam schedule to ensure a smoother admission process for the next academic year, provide students with ample time to prepare for entrance exams, and expedite the supplementary exams and results for students needing retakes or grade improvements,” said Sharad Gosavi, chairman of the state board.
Similarly, Anuradha Oak, the secretary of the state board, said, “To help reduce student stress, the board has released the exam dates well in advance. Detailed subject schedules for practical tests, oral exams, internal assessments, and written exams will be announced separately on the Board’s website.”
