Magenta is also working closely with major partners like Flipkart, Amazon, Porter, Delhivery, and Kuehne+Nagel to integrate its EV fleet into regional logistics networks.
Magenta Mobility, a leading name in electric mobility, has announced its expansion in Uttar Pradesh, solidifying its growing presence in India.
Previously operating in Noida, the company has now set up operations in Lucknow, Agra, Kanpur, and Varanasi, with plans to reach more cities in the future.
This move aligns with Magenta’s mission to speed up the transition to electric transportation across the country.
By 2025, Magenta aims to roll out over 2,500 electric vehicles (EVs) in Uttar Pradesh, boosting green last-mile delivery services. As part of this plan, the company is developing a state-wide EV infrastructure to offer cleaner and more sustainable transport options for both businesses and the public.
Magenta has set up its own AC and DC charging hubs and has forged key partnerships with Charging Point Operators (CPOs) to expand the network. The company has also partnered with Jio-BP to enhance its charging infrastructure, ensuring fast and reliable charging options for EV users. In addition, Magenta plans to hire over 1,200 Delivery Partners, boosting local employment while ensuring the capacity to meet the growing demand for electric transport.
Maxson Lewis, Founder and CEO of Magenta Mobility, commented, “The state’s incentives for electric vehicle deployment, along with access to skilled workers and land for infrastructure development, create a solid foundation for our expansion.”
Through its national partnerships with companies such as Flipkart, Amazon, Porter, Delhivery, and Kuehne+Nagel, Magenta is integrating its EV fleet into regional logistics and transport networks, improving delivery efficiency and boosting the use of eco-friendly transport solutions.
With this expansion, Magenta is set to play a pivotal role in driving Uttar Pradesh’s transition to greener, more sustainable transport, while supporting local employment and business growth in the region.
