Now, almost a week after Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding, actress’ brother Luv Sinha has addressed the speculations circulating online.
Sonakshi Sinha recently tied the knot with her long-time beau Zaheer Iqbal. The couple registered their marriage and hosted a grand reception attended by several Bollywood celebrities. However, her brothers, Luv Sinha and Kussh Sinha, were not seen at the event, sparking discussions. In an interview, Luv Sinha had requested time to respond. Now, almost a week after the wedding, he has addressed the speculations circulating online.
On Sunday, Luv Sinha took to his Instagram handle to address his alleged absence from his sister’s wedding. In response to the trolls, he pointed out that an online campaign against him does not diminish his love for his family. He wrote, “Why I chose not to attend. Running an online campaign against me on a false premise won’t change the fact that for me, my family will always come first.”
Earlier, speaking with Hindustan Times, Luv Sinha had addressed his absence from Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding. He said, “Please give it a day or two. I’ll respond to your question then if I feel I can. Thank you for asking.”
Meanwhile, in an interview with News 18 Showsha, Kussh Sinha dismissed all claims suggesting he was absent from the wedding. He criticized an article published by a leading portal, citing an unnamed source for spreading ‘inaccurate information.’ He said, “It’s just that I am a private individual, and I am not seen that much, but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t there,” he asserted.
Meanwhile, Sonakshi and Zaheer tied the knot on June 23, 2024, in the presence of their family and close friends. The couple’s reception party also took place on the same day, attended by stars including Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Kajol, Tabu, Huma Qureshi with brother Saqib Saleem, Aditi Rao Hydari with fiancé Siddharth, and more.
