Konavle Cavtat in Croatia is home to one of Europe’s best beaches and makes an incredible place for a holiday.
Pasjaca beach is nested at the foot of a cliff’s foot and is a one of a kind beach which can be found in the area.
The area has been named as one of the most exclusive places in Europe and is even within reach of Dubrovnik so you can visit there too to make the most out of your trip.
One of Croatia’s most coveted regions, Cavat in the Konavle region, has been called the Croatian Tuscany and the picturesque town is a great place to explore. It is situated 35 minutes away from Dubrovnik by car.
In the Old Town, you’ll find a selection of bars, restaurants and cafes where you can see the bustle of the area while having a bite to eat or a drink.
The area has a waterfront which has been compared to Saint Tropez which is lined with palm trees making it perfect for an evening stroll.
Located in the southernmost region of Croatia, Konavle is often referred to as the “Konavle Valley”. The area has a population of 10,000 people and there are around 30 small villages dotted throughout the region.
One third of the region is forest and the region is known for its incredible scenery. Flowing through the area are two rivers, the Ljuta and the Konavocica which have a selection of viewpoints for visitors.
Most visit the spot for a relaxing holiday as the quiet region has retained may of its old traditions and customs and is not not largely visited by tourists.
Much of the surroundings have been preserved and protected from development making the area a unique rural place to visit.
