AAP leader and former Delhi minister Saurabh Bhardwaj has turned into a YouTuber after losing in the recently-concluded Delhi assembly elections.
Former Greater Kailash MLA, Bhardwaj named his YouTube channel “Berozgar Neta” which translates to ‘unemployed politician’. He said through his channel he will share his post-election experiences and answer public questions.
In the video, he delivered a message to people that he would be answering all the questions of people that he had been receiving on various social media platforms, including Twitter.
He said that through his YouTube channel, he will show people how the life of a politician changes after he loses an election.
He said, “Entire Delhi has changed after the results were declared on February 8 and the lives of people like us have flipped 180 degrees. Today, it can be said that we are those politicians who are unemployed.”
“A lot of people have been asking questions on WhatsApp and Twitter in this regard. I wanted to tell you how the life of a politician changes after he loses an election. I am receiving a lot of questions and I will answer them all. You can join me on this channel. Channel’s name is ‘Berozgar Neta Ji’. You can also send in your questions. Thank You!”
The YouTube Channel has so far amassed over 49,000 followers while the video has garnered over 3,400 views.
The ex-MLA lost the Greater Kailash constituency seat to BJP’s Shikha Roy by a margin of 3,188 votes. He was elected from the Greater Kailash seat three consecutive times, starting in 2013.
In the 2025 polls, AAP leadership suffered a major setback as several party heavyweights, including party supremo Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, lost their respective seats, paving the way for the BJP to sweep the national capital.
The BJP has made a comeback to the capital after 26 years, winning 48 of the 70 seats. Meanwhile, Atishi retained her Kalkaji seat by a margin of 600 votes.
The AAP, which had secured 62 and 67 seats in the 2020 and 2015 polls, respectively, could manage to win only 22 seats.
