In the ongoing investigation, four individuals have been apprehended. Authorities revealed that Vicky and his wife are currently undergoing interrogation.
“So far no connection with any outfit has been established,” sources said.
Sources indicate that Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan spearheaded the operation, organizing passes for the additional individuals implicated in the incident.
“They were the ones who actively participated in recce, ahead of the incident,” sources said.
“Everyone met in Mysuru about one and a half years ago. Sagar came from Lucknow in July but could not enter the Parliament House. On December 10, one by one, everyone reached Delhi from their respective states. They gathered near India Gate, where coloured crackers were distributed to everyone,” sources stated.
The police stated that concealed objectionable items were seized, indicating a deliberate and preplanned attack.
“It is being looked at as a well-thought conspiracy,” sources said.
Nilaksha Aich, the founder of an NGO, disclosed that Lalit Jha, the accused never disclosed his whereabouts when sending a video of the Parliament security breach.
Aich, who operates an NGO focusing on tribal education in West Bengal’s Purulia district, revealed that Lalit Jha was a member and served as the General Secretary of the organization.
The police have registered a case against the accused under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in connection with the Parliament security breach incident.
