Kriti Sanon Breaks Silence On Joining Politics, Says ‘If It Comes In My Heart…’

Ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, different celebs have stepped into politics. While Kangana initially announced her political debut, it was Govinda on March 28 who revealed that he is set to come back in politics once again. Now, Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon was also asked whether she has same plans.

Sharing her thoughts on the same, Kriti during a session at the summit said, “I have never thought of that. I never think that I will do this or that until it comes from within and until I am not very passionate about it. If someday, it comes into my heart that I want to do something more, maybe then. One should keep shifting gears once in a while and challenge oneself to do things which one has not done before.”

Currently, Kriti’s film Crew has hit the big screens. The movie was released on March 29, 2024. Apart from Kriti, the movie also features Tabu and Kareena Kapoor. The comedy heist is helmed by Rajesh A Krishnan. Speaking about working with Tabu and Kareena, Kriti said, “We usually get to work with men, it was very refreshing to work with women. These women are so talented, I have admired them for years.” 

The actor further added, “We all look up to them in what they bring to the table and the Kolkata airport accident: for how they’ve reinvented themselves. The way this film Felt a jolt, looked out and saw the tip of plane’s wing fall was written and these characters are, there’s such life and chemistry between these three.”

Coming to Lok Sabha Polls 2024, the Bhartiya Janta Party has fielded Kangana from Mandi. On March 23, 2024, the BJP released a list of 111 candidates competing for an election. Apart from Kangana, name of Arun Govil, famous for playing the role of Lord Ram in Ramayan, was also mentioned. The actor will fight the elections from his hometown Meerut.
