For years, Ava has been stirring up trouble for the Corinthos family. But in recent months, her behavior has become more devious. Although Sonny Corinthos is her main target, she recently went after his eldest daughter.
Ava leaked a recording of Natalia Ramirez making homophobic remarks about her daughter Blaze’s relationship with Kristina. The scandal caused public humiliation for Blaze and Kristina, who lost their jobs. It didn’t take long for everyone to figure out Miss Jerome leaked the tape and she became the town pariah.
Sonny wanted revenge on Ava and decided to sue her for custody of their daughter Avery. But she wasn’t going down without a fight. She decided to play dirty by subpoenaing Kristina to testify against Sonny in the custody trial.
Ava poked the bear one too many times, and Kristina’s fall could be Miss Jerome’s long-awaited downfall.
Kristina Disobeyed Her Father’s Orders Regarding Ava
Kristina’s hatred toward Ava has been brewing for a while on General Hospital. She was furious about the leaked recording of Natalia outing her and Blaze’s relationship. But she tried to push it aside as she concentrated on her future.
Yet, the subpoena to testify in court had Kristina fuming again.
Kristina was going to be forced to testify about Sonny’s temper and witnessing him assaulting Dex Heller. When she expressed her concerns to her father, Sonny told her to ignore Ava. But Kristina couldn’t let it go.
She stormed over to Ava’s hotel room, and tensions soon mounted. Ava gloats about Kristina testifying against Sonny, but the young woman hits back with a threat. She says she’ll reveal that Ava killed Connie Falconeri and tampered with Morgan Corinthos meds. An angry Ava grabbed Kristina, but she pulled away, and tripped over the duffel bag which lead to her fall.
The Accident Leads to Heartbreak
Both women are responsible for their actions that day. Ava kept messing with Kristina and her family, so it was a matter of time before a confrontation ensued. She didn’t help matters by taunting Kristina and trying to get physical with her. It was only when she grabbed Kristina everything started spiraling.
Meanwhile, Kristina put herself at risk by confronting Ava. If she had just let her father handle the situation, then none of this would’ve happened.
But, unfortunately, their actions lead to a horrific accident with heartbreaking consequences. Molly Lansing-Davis and TJ Ashford’s baby girl died. Kristina’s life is still in peril and Ava is also in danger.
