Kolkata: After a meeting with the Chief Secretary at Nabanna, representatives from the West Bengal Junior Doctors Front addressed the media. One junior doctor informed ANI about the key points discussed, stating that although the Chief Secretary agreed to all of the protesting doctors’ demands during the meeting, he refused to provide a written record of the discussions (the minutes). The doctor further noted that the Chief Secretary did not prioritize the doctors’ demands and declined to issue the meeting minutes.“When the meeting was going on then Chief Secretary agreed with all our demands but after the meeting, when we were asking for minutes of the meeting, there was nothing about about our demands in the minutes. They did not focus on our demands…they asked us to mail…the minutes that we asked, they didn’t give that to us”, said a Junior Doctor.
