KCET 2024 Answer Keys: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the provisional answer keys for the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2024. This comes after controversy erupted surrounding out-of-syllabus questions in the exam.
Candidates can access the provisional answer keys for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology on the KEA website (https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/).The deadline to submit objections to the answer keys is May 7th, 2024.
Objecting to Answer Keys
The KEA allows candidates to submit objections through the KEA portal. Objections must be accompanied by justification in PDF format and clearly specify the subject, version code, and question number being challenged. Submissions without proper justification or missing version code/question number details will be disregarded.
Addressing Out-of-Syllabus Questions
Following instructions from the Department of Higher Education, the KEA has identified and exempted key answers for 50 questions deemed to be out of syllabus. These include 11 in Biology, 9 in Physics, and 15 each in Mathematics and Chemistry. These questions will be marked with an “X.”
The final answer key will be determined by a committee of subject experts, and their decision will be final.
