Beckinsale, who has been synonymous with bombshell brunette hair since the early 2000s, just made a major, major hair change for a Roger Vivier holiday dinner in Los Angeles. The actor ditched her long hair in favor of a beachy, wavy bob, but the real shocker is that she’s now a bright, sunny blonde.
Hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos transformed the star from her go-to highlighted brunette to a light, golden, near-platinum blonde, which he cheekily called a “blob,” AKA blonde bob, on Instagram. It’s not an all-over color, but rather a rooty blonde that transitions from a light brunette at the root to the pale gold mid-lengths and ends. Beckinsale’s bob hits between her chin and collarbones and is styled in tousled waves to show off the color. Makeup artist Jose Corella paired the blonde with a vibrant red lip that matched Beckinsale’s crimson suit and a shimmery gold eye. I’ve got just two words for this: Bomb. Shell. (OK, that’s technically one word, but I digress.)
