Chennai: In a social media video titled “For all the click baits,” comedian Karthik Kumar addressed recent accusations about his sexuality made by his former wife, singer Suchitra. A report published by Tamil One India indicated Suchitra’s statement, where she alleged that Kartik was gay, and she claimed that Kartik and Dhanush had a close relationship. On Tuesday, Karthik didn’t address Suchitra’s false allegation, but he made it clear that he would be proud to be gay and expressed his support for the LGBTQ+ community. Read on to find more details.
Kartik Kumar Indirectly Slams Ex-Wife Suchitra
Kartik took to Instagram and gave a fitting reply to his former ex-wife’s allegations. The comedian said, “If I am a homosexual, no? I would not be ashamed of being homosexual. I would be very very proud to be any kind of sexual in the gigantic and glorious spectrum of sexuality that exists out there. I would not be ashamed. I would be proud. I would join a pride rally in my city, which I anyway will. All kinds of sexualities join the pride rally and show your support. There is no shame anymore. There’s just pride. Be proud (sic).”

What Allegations Did Suchitra Make?
A news report published by Tamil One India referred to Suchitra’s state, “My husband (Kartik) is gay. He doesn’t have the guts to say it. I figured it out two years into my marriage. My husband and Dhanush had a close relationship. After drinking for a day, both went into the same room. I only know what they did there. Kartik and I got married by my parents. Thus I did not expect love from him. I was the first to ask for a divorce. But he was responsible for the Suchi leaks (sic).”
Earlier another video of the singer with YouTube channel, Kumudham took the internet by storm when she alleged that Dhanush and Aishwarya had cheated on each other. She went on to claim that the couple had flings, and they used to go on dates with other people even though they were married to each other.
