Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to spill magic with her upcoming film The Buckingham Murders. Recently, on the trailer launch, the stunning diva spoke her heart out about her character Jasmeet Bhamra, a detective. The actress was asked if her character Jas and Geet shared similar traits. Kareena played the role of Geet in Jab We Met film which is one of the most popular characters among youths. The team of The Buckingham Murders came together for an event and revealed how her character Jas is different from Geet as they were both Sardarnis.

During the event, Kareena Kapoor Khan said that she did not feel so as Jab We Met was a completely different movie. She said, ‘It doesn’t matter if you’re playing the same authenticity of a religion, like if I am a Sikhni, it doesn’t mean that I’m going to be Bathinda wali Sikhni. I should also be able to play the detective Jas Bhamra’. She also said that it was the actor’s responsibility to showcase different parts.
She also compared two characters from her movies as she said, ‘Like I’ve played a pr*stitute in Chameli but at the same time in Talaash. But if you put both of them together they’re completely different’. Kareena said that Jas was also a very different character.
Talking about The Buckingham Murders trailer, showcases the thrilling plot. It is a crime investigation by Detective Bhamra who does not trust anyone around her.

The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Brar, Ash Tandon, Assad Raja, Prabhleen Sandhu, Sanjeev Mehra, Adwoa Akoto, and Zain Hussain. It is directed by Hansal Mehta, the movie is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor. Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker have written the screenplay. The film will hit the cinemas on September 13, 2024.
