Kangana Ranaut reveals Deepika Padukone and she went to same driving school: ‘Ab toh seekh ke hi rahungi…’ |

Kangana Ranaut and Deepika Padukone both learned to drive at the same place! In her latest chat on The Bombay Journey with Mashable India, Kangana spilled the beans about her driving adventures. Despite her best efforts, she couldn’t snag a license—each time, her grand finale was a crash into another car!
During the chat, Kangana shared a hilarious driving mishap. She revealed she and Deepika Padukone both attended the same Bandra driving school around the same time—Deepika in 2007 and Kangana in 2006. Despite her efforts, Kangana’s driving lessons didn’t go as planned. She ended up crashing her car into a rickshaw after mistakenly hitting the accelerator instead of the brake, missing out on her license yet again.

The actress also recounted how her motivation to drive was reignited years later when she saw Deepika effortlessly driving her own car at an event. Realizing that Deepika had mastered driving despite their shared learning experience, Kangana decided she would give it another shot. However, her second attempt ended in disaster when she crashed her car into a police jeep during training. Her driver noted the damage to her luxury car, and when the police arrived, Kangana humorously pointed out that her car was more damaged than their jeep. After that incident, she decided to give up on driving once more.

Fans are eagerly awaiting Kangana Ranaut’s new film, Emergency, which also marks her directorial debut. Set against the backdrop of India’s 1975 emergency period, the film stars Kangana as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. It hits theaters on September 6.
