Prabhas-starrer Sci-Fi film Kalki 2898 AD has started the advance booking and it has already taken the box office by storm.
“Prabhas-starrer Kalki 2898 AD is one of the highly anticipated films of the year. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the science fiction-action drama is set to hit the big screens on June 27, 2024. Ahead of its release, advance booking for Kalki 2898 AD has begun, and it has already made a significant impact on the box office. According to reports, within three days of advance booking, the response has been overwhelming, with numbers steadily increasing.
Details indicate that Kalki 2898 AD has already sold over 14,000 tickets in the United States alone. With this, the total advance booking revenue for the Prabhas and Deepika Padukone-starrer stands at US $435,338 (Rs 3.63 crore). Including ticket sales from Canadian locations, the total booking amount reaches US $470,000 (Rs 3.92 crore). The movie will be released a day earlier in the United States, on June 26, 2024.
As anticipation mounts for the long-awaited sci-fi spectacle ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, the creators have unveiled an enthralling new poster featuring Amitabh Bachchan in the role of Ashwatthama, exuding mystery and allure. The actor is depicted as battle-ready, clutching his Astra and adorned with a divine gem on his forehead. Set against a striking battlefield backdrop with fallen soldiers and a colossal vehicle in the background, the poster hints at a formidable performance.
The film is directed by Nag Ashwin, and the makers unveiled the first look at San Diego Comic-Con last year. The event was attended by Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Rana Daggubati. Recently, the makers also organised a new event at Hyderabad where Prabhas unveiled his futuristic car ‘Bujji’ from the movie. Apart from Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, the movie also features Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani among others. With every event, the excitement among fans regarding the film is building up and fans are eagerly waiting for the film to release on big screens.
