Adding to the achievement, 75 MG ZS EVs were deployed as part of the Bengaluru Airport Taxi fleet through Refex Green Mobility, further supporting the city’s shift towards sustainable transport. This surge in deliveries highlights the growing consumer preference for MG’s electric vehicles.
Innovative Battery-as-a-Service Program
To make EV ownership more accessible, JSW MG Motor India has introduced a *Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS)* program. This unique initiative removes the upfront cost of the battery, allowing customers to pay per usage. Key pricing details include:
– MG Comet EV: Rs 4.99 lakh + Rs 2.5/km battery rental
– MG Windsor: Rs 9.99 lakh + Rs 3.5/km battery rental
– MG ZS EV: Rs 13.99 lakh + Rs 4.5/km battery rental
This flexible approach reduces the financial barriers to EV adoption, encouraging more consumers to embrace green mobility.
Feature-Rich Electric Vehicles
The MG Comet, known as the “Street-Smart Car,” features a compact design, 55+ connected features, and i-SMART technology, making it ideal for urban driving.
The MG Windsor, combining the comfort of a sedan with SUV versatility, has become a bestseller, receiving 15,176 bookings within 24 hours of its launch and offering a range of 332 km.
The MG ZS EV, designed for family drives, boasts spacious interiors, over **75 connected features, and a range of 461 km.
Building India’s EV Ecosystem
To strengthen EV adoption, JSW MG Motor has launched the eHUB by MG app, integrating over 85% of India’s charging network. With 27,000 downloads in 100 days, it allows users to locate chargers, reserve spots, and pay seamlessly.
This achievement underscores JSW MG Motor’s commitment to leading India’s EV revolution with sustainable innovations.
