JoSAA 2024 Counselling: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority will release the JoSAA 2024 Counselling Mock Seat Allocation-1 in three days. As per the JoSAA counselling date and time, the authority will release the mock seat Allocation-1 based on the choices filled- in by candidates as of June 14 on June 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM. Seat allocation in IITs is based on JEE (Advanced) 2024 rank and seat allocation in NIT+System is based on JEE (Main) 2024 rank. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2024 has been set up by the Ministry of Education [erstwhile Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD)] to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 121 institutes for the academic year 2024-25. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 40 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs). JoSAA Counselling Date And Time

  • Candidate registration/choice filling for academic programs under JoSAA STARTS; candidates who qualify for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) can fill in their AAT-specific choices starting from June 14, 2024, after the declaration of the AAT result: 10 June 2024
  • Pre-payment of the JoSAA seat acceptance fee starts: 10 June 2024
  • Display of Mock Seat Allocation-1 based on the choices filled- in by candidates as on June 14, 2024, 20:00 IST: 15 June 2024
  • Display of Mock Seat Allocation-2 based on the choices filled- in by candidates as on June 16, 2024, 17:00 IST: 17 June 2024
  • Candidates can Lock their Choices: 17 June 2024

    (Auto/System Locking of Choices): 18 June 2024
