John Steenhuisen’s dancing has SA cringing again [watch]

Not for the first time, DA leader John Steenhuisen has been mocked over his dance moves during a political rally.

The opposition leader launched the party’s official manifesto outside the Union Buildings in Pretoria.

The 47-year-old also launched a spoof of the struggle song Kill The Boer, which he introduced to the crowd during his speech.

In clips posted on social media, John Steenhuisen and wife Terry were seen joining a group of supporters who sang and danced in the street.

Needless to say, many found John’s moves both amusing and embarrassing.

‘VULI GATE’-GATE

In 2021, John Steenhuisen became a hot topic after he showed off his moves to hot track John Vuli Gate during a political rally.

Speaking to residents of Steve Tshwete municipality in Mpumalanga, John played on the lyrics of the song to push his political agenda, stating that the DA would “vuli gate [open the gate] for a better future.”

He also promised to provide the residents with essential services, including water, houses, and jobs.

He said alongside the video of him dancing: “Many of you know they call me ‘John Vuli Gate.’ You know that song. We’re going to vula the gate for all of you to have a better future because the DA gets things done.”

In another clip, John was seen dancing on stage with several of his party candidates and associates to the song by amapiano duo Mapara a Jazz.
