Bollywood actor John Abraham is currently seen in Vedaa film. The handsome star of Bollywood recently spoke his heart out about the under-performance of Vedaa. He said that he is quite proud of his film which is directed by Nikkhil Advani. The action-drama film did not live up to expectations at the box office and faced clashes with Shraddha Kapoor‘s Stree 2 and Akshay Kumar‘s Khel Khel Mein. Advani joked that the only thing he would change was to make Stree 2, the runaway hit of the year – a bad film.
John Abraham reacts to Vedaa’s BO failure
In an interview with Radio City, John Abraham said that he stands by that the film did not do well. But, he said that it was a brave film to do as he wanted to work with Nikkhil again after Batla House. He further added that more than success and failure, it’s the message that they are sharing via film that is more important. He also said that the subject is heavy and if people aren’t interested in watching films with heavy subjects, that’s their choice, which he respects.
John Abraham continued by saying that he was proud that they made a good film and said that it was possibly Nikkhil and his best work together. He also said that there is a regret when the film doesn’t work commercially as it feels bad. He also said that it stems from uncertainty about the film itself. John said that with Vedaa, they got practically everything right and the cast performed brilliantly, every department, from cinematography to action, has done well. He said that people will find things to complain about with the screenplay and that is fine. He said that he respects everybody’s point of view. and he is proud that they have made a good film.

Vedaa has managed to collect Rs 20 crore so far as per reports in entertainment news portals and John was part of films including Pathaan, Attack: Part 1, Mumbai Saga, and Ek Villain Returns which broke records at the box office.
