Jimmy Fallon Praises Diljit Dosanjh, Invites Singer Back on The Tonight Show: ‘You Crushed It’ – WATCH

Jimmy Fallon, the host of The Tonight Show, praised Diljit Dosanjh and called him ‘the biggest Punjabi artist’ on the planet.

Diljit Dosanjh rules hearts. Every time the famous singer steps on stage, he makes his fans go crazy with his music. While Diljit has been performing overseas and enthralling his audience, he has now made the entire country proud by making his Hollywood TV debut with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. On the popular American TV show, Diljit made jaws drop when he performed two of his superhit songs – “Born To Shine” and “G.O.A.T.” After the performance, host Fallon congratulated Diljit and asked him to come back. He also mentioned that people were grooving to Diljit’s beats and the show couldn’t have been better.

After Diljit’s performance, Fallon went to meet Diljit backstage. The host and the singer shared a hug. Later, Fallon said, “You crushed it. It couldn’t have gone better. It was fantastic. It was electric. Love it. Everyone was dancing. That was phenomenal, couldn’t have gone better. Please come back.” In the video, which is now making rounds on the internet, Diljit can be seen with folded hands, thanking Fallon for having him on the show. The singer shared the video with the caption, “ONE LOVE @jimmyfallon @fallontonight (sic).”

Apart from “G.O.A.T” and “Born To Shine,” Diljit also sang the line “Mein hu Punjab” from his recently released film, Amar Singh Chamkila. Impressed with Diljit’s performance, Fallon urged fans to catch Diljit on his ‘Dil-Lunimati’ music tour across North America.

Not only that, Fallon also praised Diljit and called him “the biggest Punjabi artist on the planet.” Coming to Diljit’s attire, the singer chose to represent his nation and culture by wearing a classic traditional Punjabi ensemble. Diljit was last seen in director Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila. Now, the singer is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Jatt and Juliet 3, which will hit the big screens on June 27.
