The launch sees 40 sun destinations available with five brand-new routes.

Glasgow Airport is launching weekly services to Girona, Spain plus Kefalonia and Kalamata in Greece.

Edinburgh will offer new flights to Dubrovnik in Croatia and Marrakech, Morocco.

The expanded programme means over 2.3 million seats have gone on sale. 

The airline has also increased capacity to Palma in Majorca from Edinburgh Airport and additional flights to Malaga and Alicante from Glasgow Airport.

At Edinburgh Airport 37 destinations are on sale with 32 at Glasgow.

Edinburgh destinations include Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Ibiza, and Malta.

Glasgow destinations include Tenerife, Corfu, Malta and Rome.

Jet2 CEO Steve Heapy said: “Customers are telling us they want to book ahead and secure that all-important holiday, so they can have the best choice of hotels, rooms and dates.
