Janhvi Kapoor, who was hospitalised on July 18 due to food poisoning, has been discharged on Saturday.
Janhvi Kapoor has been discharged from the hospital after being admitted on July 18 for a case of food poisoning. Boney Kapoor, her father, shared an update on her health and confirmed she was released from the hospital on Saturday. She had cancelled all her Wednesday interactions since she wasn’t feeling well after returning from Chennai to Mumbai.
Speaking to Zoom, Boney Kapoor said, “She was discharged this morning. She is much better now.” Janhvi has been well taken care of by her family members, who have been by her side at this difficult time as per the Times Now report. Her father, sister Khushi Kapoor, and her rumoured beau Shikhar Pahariya were among those who have shown her love and support.

Janhvi Kapoor to Start ‘Ulajh’ Promotions
Janhvi will now resume promoting ‘Ulajh,’ her forthcoming movie. The National Award-winning filmmaker Sudhanshu Saria’s espionage thriller also stars Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, and Adil Hussain. On August 2, Ulajh will be released in theaters. Janhvi Kapoor’s film will compete at the box office with Ajay Devgn-Tabu’s ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha.‘ The romance drama, directed by Neeraj Pandey also stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Shantanu Maheshwari, and Saiee Manjrekar in supporting parts.
Speaking about her role as a young diplomat Suhana in ‘Ulajh,’ Janhvi Kapoor said, “This film is particularly special to me as I portray a very challenging role of a diplomat for the first time. It has been a humbling and fascinating experience. Working with Sudhanshu Saria has been incredibly enriching; he made me push my own boundaries. Suhana’s character is strong and multi-dimensional, and I found a personal connection to some shades of the character that enabled me to deliver an authentic performance.”
Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter will soon work together again on Karan Johar’s upcoming film. The two, who debuted together in Bollywood with Dhadak, are said to be starring in Neeraj Ghaywan’s next film, which is scheduled to begin production in October 2024. Actor Vishal Jethwa will also play a significant role in it.
