Hyderabad: Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna has become the talk of the town after nudging Anjali during the Gangs of Godavari’s pre-release event on stage. In an instance of urgency, to make some room, Balakrishna nudged Anjali aside, who was slow in responding, nearly losing her balance. Vishwak Sen, Naga Vamsi Defend Nandamuri’s ‘Indecent Act’ On Stage

From the perspective of her co-star Vishwak Sen and film producer Naga Vamsi, the reported shoving incident involving Anjali was trivialized. During a press conference about the movie, they offered insights about Balakrishna’s actions and brushed it off as a non-issue

On the other hand, actor Vishwak got sarcastic about Nandamuri’s shocking Anjali on stage. According to him, ‘Balakrishna is a good man’ and he believes that people were not talking much about what exactly occurred before he pushed Anjali on stage.

Vishwak said, “He (Balakrishna) is such a good man, he will take something serious and also jovially. We also need to understand what needs to be taken seriously and what need not(sic).” He further added, “Everyone is reacting only to a portion of the video; no one saw what happened after (he shoved Anjali).” He believed because, Anjali giggled because of the situation.

To make the defense even more stronger producer Vamsi pitched his take on Nandamuri Balakrishna shoving on stage. He went on to explain, “Suppose there are three people, suppose I ask you to move and you don’t, so I casually push you. That’s all that happened there. This is happening because people have planned to turn it into a controversy (sic).”
He further added, “They high-fived each other after, why is no one talking about that (sic).”

There have been rumors circulating on social networking site X, once known as Twitter, sparked by videos shared by some users. These videos supposedly show Balakrishna with two bottles next to him at an event, with speculation rife that one of these bottles contained alcohol. However, Vamsi humorously dismissed the rumors, suggesting that the notorious bottles were artfully added in post-production with the use of ‘CGI’.

While the video made multiple rounds on social media netizens were concerned after watching the viral video. Vimsam further added, “People are also claiming that Balakrishna had a bottle of liquor near him, someone made that clip with CGI. I know he had no bottles near him because I organised the event (sic).”
