Did Millie Bobby Brown just travel back in time to the era of low-rise flares, TRL, and body glitter? After seeing these pics, I’m having a hard time believing she’s not actually Britney Spears.
The Stranger Things star has always had a noticeable resemblance to the Princess of Pop, but it’s never been more evident than now. Over the weekend, Brown dropped a new Y2K-inspired photoset where she looks like a clone of Spears circa 2003, complete with bright blonde hair like Spears in her Britney era. Brown’s hair falls past her shoulders in a blend of blonde shades, including golden blonde, honey blonde, and a lighter baby blonde color around her face, with just the tiniest hint of root to add depth.
Brown’s makeup was also Spears-adjacent, with a sculpted taupe eye, bronzed skin with a rosy blush, and pink-brown lipstick similar to the color Spears often wore in the early days of her career. Instead of Spears’s go-to French tips, Brown went for a sheer stiletto manicure. And as if the 2000s throwback vibes weren’t strong enough, the actor added some old-school computer pop-up stickers to the pic, essentially sending me right back to my AIM chat days with TRL playing in the background.
