A helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi made a rough landing on May 19, reported state TV. Iranian state media earlier reported that the incident occurred near Jolfa in Iran’s East Azerbaijan province. President Raisi was returning from a ceremony to open a dam on Iran’s border with Azerbaijan when his helicopter crashed.
