iQOO 13 tipped to feature 2K flat display, 50MP 3x periscope camera and 6,000mAh battery

iQOO 13 key details tipped

According to tipster Digital Chat station, the iQOO 13 will feature a metal middle frame with a glass body on the front and rear. It will likely be equipped with a 2K flat display, which contrasts with a recent rumour that mentions the iQOO 13 might feature a curved display. However, the iQOO 12 was launched with a 6.78-inch flat display.

The tipster mentioned the phone will feature a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor, 50MP ultrawide, and 50MP 3x periscope telephoto camera. This is similar to the camera setup of the iQOO 12, but the iQOO 12 is equipped with a 64MP 3x telephoto camera.

As per the tipster, the phone will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which has been mentioned many times in previous reports. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC is expected to launch in October and might also be featured in the OnePlus 13, Xiaomi 15, and Samsung Galaxy S25 series, among several others.

DCS stated that the phone might offer a whooping 6,000mAh battery instead of the 5,000mAh battery on the iQOO 12. However, the tipster has mentioned 100W fast charging, which conflicts with the recent report that suggests 120W fast charging. Additionally, it will feature 50W wireless charging, which is not present in the iQOO 12.

Furthermore, the phone is also tipped to come with a more advanced ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor instead of the regular in-screen fingerprint on the iQOO 12. However, a recent report mentioned this sensor would be a ‘single point’ sensor, hinting it won’t cover a large display area.

iQOO 13 other expected details

Though not confirmed, reports say that the iQOO 12 will feature a dedicated iQOO graphic chip for better gaming, an IP68 water and dust resistance rating, and pack up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of internal storage.

As per a recent report, the iQOO 13 might go official in July. Notably, the iQOO 12 was launched in China in November 2023. Additionally, iQOO might ditch the Pro variant. However, these details are based on speculations, so they should be taken with a pinch of salt.
